Welcome to Third Sip Coffee! Here you can expect to enjoy a coffee like no other. We only use our exclusive Blend 47 for preparing all our coffee drinks. Rest assured that it will be recently roasted every time. And we mean it! We roast our coffee beans in small batches daily, so we can always offer them between 2 to 5 days after the roasting. Why not brewing the coffee the same day as roasting? After roasting, coffee beans need a few days (about 2 days for most varieties) to degas, and only then it is ready for consumption. For our Blend 47, we found out that it is at its peak between 2 to 5 days after the roasting. We then grind it and brew it right before serving it to you. Talk about freshness! This is how we prepare coffee for family and friends.

OUR STORY

A Note from the Founder

While working night shift as an engineer, coffee was of utmost importance to me. Initially, I was drinking the regular coffee available at the office but soon realized that, while not bad, it was not exactly the most enjoyable. Then, for several years, I was ok with the options I came across on my way to work for my daily coffee fix. Looking for a better coffee drinking experience and a more powerful kickstart to my working nights, I started preparing my own coffee at home. As a preferred method, I decided to use the Moka Pot, paying homage to my beloved mother and the many rich coffees she prepared for me during my college study nights. And by trying and comparing different roasts, brands, and blends, I developed a preference for mid-to-dark roasted coffees.

The Blend 47

The Blend 47 takes its name from the total number of different blends, brands, origins, and ratios we tried before achieving what we consider the most pleasant and satisfying blend of all. We gave in a bit of the floral/fruity attributes, which is more appropriate for a mid-afternoon light coffee. And while pursuing that pleasurable burst of energy, we reached an equilibrium within the boldness, maintained a luscious acidity, and achieved an exquisite aroma. Luckily you found it. The Blend 47.
